Delegate Roland J. Ealey Day is celebrated annually in Virginia on June 20. Designated by the House of Delegates in 2004, this day honors the legacy of Roland J. “Duke” Ealey, a former legislator and civil rights attorney who made significant contributions to the Commonwealth.
